It's a great idea when doing a vendor event / home party / etc . . . to collect information from the guests. Maybe they aren't ready to make a purchase YET, but you can add them to your customer facebook group, email list, etc . . . and follow up with them in the future to help them get close to becoming a customer / hostess / team member.
